Croton Gold Dust

The Gold Dust Croton (Codiaeum variegatum 'Gold Dust') is a vibrant tropical shrub recognized by its glossy dark green leaves speckled with bright yellow-gold dots. It is native to Southeast Asia, grows up to 3 feet tall indoors (or taller outdoors in warm climates), and is toxic to humans and pets.

Plant Care

• Light: Needs bright, indirect light to maintain vibrant yellow speckles; direct sun can scorch leaves.
• Water: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry; keep moist but ensure proper drainage to prevent root rot.
• Temperature: Prefers warm rooms between 65°F and 80°F; protect from cold drafts.
